I bought this book based on the comments to my boyfriend who aspires to beekeeping. It is the worst book reading we ever looked! There is no organization to it, no table of contents or index. It is easy to read at all! I urge buyers to read a random page in the site and see if something can happen. Chewy! I have respect for the classics of literature, but this is not an easy read and is so difficult to get through that can not be considered informative. Rating: 1 / 5

This man was far beyond his time. . . although knowledge of its findings are common among beekeepers in America, looks at the evolution of modern American beekeeping and also contains few things that I never knew! This man is fascinating and I love the “Old English “sense of written prose. Rating: 5 / 5

Written by someone with a lifetime value of knowledge about bees. And as the bees are still the same, you can bet this book is worth more than the books that are written by someone who has only investigated the tema.Langstroth was and is an expert with more authority on bees – this is the only book to be on your shelf. Think twice about bee books of others, but not ├ęsta.11 of 10! Rating: 5 / 5

Buy this book for a friend’s father – which is an amateur beekeeper. I was so happy, she had heard of this book, but did not know he was still in print. So if you want to score big with a beekeeper (and now I’m free honey), this is the classic manual of beekeeping. (worth doing your research!) Enjoy your toast (and honey!) Rating: 5 / 5

This is the only book that holds all the bees or bee fan should. . . bees have not changed since Langstroth wrote this book and all the books I’ve read about bees referred to in this book – as well as bees that fuses the roses and I! This is not a problem, question or problem can not solve if you consult Langstroth.10 10! Rating: 5 / 5
