    How cold? We got -15°C last week and we dont use any wraping here in Slovenia. I beekeep with our national Apis mellifera carnica. Our country is one of the world superpower in beekeeping.

    up here in NW CT it gets real cold, and the old time beekeepers wrap their hives, so i do too. thx , eric.

    Man, you don’t need paper , you don’t need another cover, just leave it like you have it in the summer. And you should put the grease in in the plastic bag and cut it on few places.
