Beekeeping question about re-queening or lost queen?

Does anyone know what would happen to a queen who does not crush when I returned to the queen. The queen was in the hive so if I take a hundred meters away from the hive they do not find your way back? The Queen only being able to eat on their own or be killed very quickly out of the hive? Any ideas on what to do if I want to kill the old queen?

When you requeen, you really need to kill the old one so that the worker bees accept the new queen. If you leave her outside she will die anyway – she will not be able to feed herself & will not survive outside the hive. So the most humane thing is to kill her quickly rather than letting her die slowly.
