Opinions vary on what equipment is needed to begin beekeeping. Ask how beekeepers who want, what equipment is needed, and get as many answers.

Here is a list of the essentials to begin construction of the hive. Once you have an idea of what to buy, can the origin of vendors specific to the various elements. Beware buying used beekeeping equipment from a source you know nothing and have it checked by an experienced beekeeper for the disease.
